We are a Bible-Believing Church

Our Savior’s Anglican Church, Calgary had its first Sunday Worship on January 21, 2018. The historic Church service was officiated by Engr. Sam Ihekwoaba as Lay Reader.

Our Savior’s Anglican Church Calgary is a bible believing Church anchored in the love of Christ (Colossians 3:17) and will remain committed to being a family-centered Church where the love of God is shared and felt without boundaries, reaching out and serving the needs of our community through prayers, evangelism and service.
We thank Almighty God for entrusting this mission in our hands and we trust that He will equip us with all that we need to serve this community to the Glory of His name.

Our History

On September 10, 2017, a working group of Christian faithfuls unanimously agreed to establish a Church to be called Our Savior’s Anglican Church Calgary. The group also unanimously agreed that this Church would be affiliated with the Missionary Diocese of CANA West, under the authority of Church of Nigeria, Anglian Communion.

The choice of our current location began with a meeting of select committee of the vestry with Archbishop Greg Wilson-Kerr of Church of Canada, Diocese of Calgary on October 10, 2017 to formerly request the lease of St. Edmund’s Church, Bowness to be our place of worship. On November 30, 2017, approval for this request was confirmed from the office of the Archbishop.
